Installing miniconda¶
Instructions can be found here. However, they are repeated below for completeness.

- Creates a
miniconda3
directory in the user's home directory. - Downloads the latest miniconda installer into the
miniconda3
directory. - Runs the
miniconda.sh
bash script for automated installation. - Cleans up all installation files.
libmamba-solver¶
Although not mandatory, we strongly recommend using the libmamba-solver. This can be installed with the following command.
This give you a single-use option when installing packages.
For example, we can install TensorFlow while using libmamba
as our dependency solver.
Alternatively, you can set libmamba
to be the default solver.
